Been delaying this photos since i don't know when. Nothing special, just random grocery days with Regina, and some good walks around Kowloon. I'm keeping all my posts short, and kinda no point...but anyway, just to keep it a bit alive. But I'll be back soon, and and and...with better quality photos. : )

This is a poster created by Philippine design and apparel house Team Manila for tourism promotions, and for people who doesn't even know where is Philippines on world map. And sometimes Philippine doesn't even exist on some maps, which I think is a funny mistake. But then I stumble on this poster, and i liked it a lot. It's not too blunt, which I mean, it is simple, but I think it's a clever one. It doesn't sound like it sells the country, but just merely a basic information to tell people where the Philippines is. And i think too that these kinds of promotions will give a lil boost on a different kind of travel and travellers for Philippine toursim.
On the other hand, i made this blog because I miss home. I miss the people there. My feet still misses the tropical sand, the tropical smell... and the sweet pineapples and mangoes. And even my country is a bit messed up, i still love it so much.

Been my first two weeks here in HK. Everything is new to me, it's completely a different lifestyle compared with what I have back home. I don't know anyone...well, I know some and I get to meet new people, make friends...nanana... but I need to adjust a lot with everything which is quite a big challenge for me at this moment. Hmm...one thing I really like here is... I don't do my own laundry! haha But now I know why i had those five months of total bum life before this busy life swallow me out. : ) I actually have so much to share, but...oh well, I'll save it for later. tata

A bit rainy and cozy afternoon with my bestfriend in Perea, Makati. Super rush dates we have, i knoooow. I'm compressing my time so much to spend even little time with everyone. And I'm glad we managed to hang despite of our busy skeds. Sooo, we just had dessert out at Mom and Tina's while waiting for the rest. Had a good talk and a good food as well. : )

It's been a while this blog has been in hiatus, and for sure will be in a bigger and longer hiatus soon. But I'm still gonna keep this, and will miss posting nonsense for a bit. : ) Been procrastinating too, so I'm still packing and packing and packing until now. Actually I can't decide what to keep, what to bring, and what to throw. I just end up keeping everything. : ) But oh well, almost halfway doing it. Oh what a transition in my life this is.

Exhausting...Moving... almost home. A bit from the sidetrack, it's nice eating this (my) favorite potato salad from World Chicken. I love it. |

Dear lemon tree,
How are you? Well, in case you wonder I’m doing good. Great actually. Not so busy, but will be soon, so I’m taking this time to relax before the big ocean swallows me. Hmm... you know, I like this guy. I think I always did, though sometimes he gets into my nerves. It was a good surprise ‘cause I had suddenly become aware of someone's presence from very far away and I still did not know how did we get to that point. But that’s not important anymore, ‘cause I just wanna say this is splendid. A beautiful gravitational pull. I don’t know, I think it’s still all relatively normal no matter how strange or complicated it may sound. I still can't quite grasp why and how this fondness continues to grow. It’s hard to shove sometimes, but whatever you call this, I just like how it is and I will never complain. He’s such my lil sweetheart.

Don't you hate it when you're laying comfortably in your couch, with a nice movie playing, with some decent food to munch, and by comfortably I mean you're in the position that you just really don't want to move, and just in time then you realized you need to get something, maybe from the fridge or kitchen, or you need to pee, or worse you need to get up 'cause you don't have the remote control in your hand, therefore no matter how much you don't want to ruin that most comfy state your in, you have to get up and look for the remote only to find out... you're laying on it. Oh flip. -____-
Setyembre
WOW. 2010 has flown so fast, it's September again. Can't imagine I had my last OJT a year ago. At the same time I wonder what's September 2011 gonna be like. But if you wonder about my 2010...so far, it's so good. Though most of the times I'm preoccupied. So, two stuff I get excited about this month: Amélie and Flamingo! : ) In the next two weeks, I'm gonna be an aunt again! Gonna have my pretty little niece. I'm so excited to see her. : ) and yes, in nearly two weeks as well, I'm gonna be able to listen and have BF's album Flamingo. And oh! I wanna say third one is to finally know the date I'll leave.
At the moment, I've decided to do something... hmm... something less private (if that's how I could possibly describe that). I got this from a book, but I've decided to edit a bit. Think this will be a bit fun, since I'm struggling a bit with writing stuff these days. (just noticed I used "a bit" a lot :) )
Day 1 - as common as it is... Describe yourself
Day 2 - What you ate today, in great detail
Day 3 - Your favorite people, in great detail
Day 4 - Your day, in great detail
Day 5 - Your past relationship, in great detail
Day 6 - Craziest thing you did
Day 7 - A moment, in great detail
Day 8 - What's in your bag, in great detail
Day 9 - This week, in great detail
Day 10 - Something that upsets you
Day 11 - What probably most people don't know about you
Day 12 - Worst thing you've done
Day 13 - Your favorite birthday, in great detail
Day 14 - Your favorite place, in great detail
Day 15 - Your definition of love, in great detail
So, okey. Not so interesting, but I wanted to try something I don't usually do. : ) Hope your September started so well too. ♥

This was a quick little date we planned (not so planned) with my best buddies since we rarely get together in these kind of days. So to make a not-so-common place to go like mall or watch some film, then eat, we've decided to visit and take a good walk on Salcedo Village Community Market. It actually takes place once a week, every Saturday from 7-1400. I've read some reviews from a magazine saying it was really good, I mean saying everybody should try go there whether you're a foodie or not. And since WE ARE, so hey, why not? And I must really say it was an awesome village market. And the people were so nice. Next time I'll try to buy some bits to bring home.
We don't actually had much, but we were stuffed enough for the day. And this is what we had. We tried this (ouups I forgot the name hehe). It's basically a baked pasta, with eggplant (my favorite, except of some that makes your tongue a bit itchy), chicken, cheese, black olives and anchovies. We also had few rice with vegetables, and shrimp on it.
Sounds so to go though. : )
Sounds so to go though. : )
To finally stuff ourselves, nobody should miss the crêpe booth (Gigi La Crêpe & Gallette) at the end of the park square. Depending on your taste mood, you can choose from their various choices of sweet to savory fillings. I had Banana Nutella, well as usual. : ) Not so eventful day, but I had so much fun.
